Foreign Lands
Judith has travelled extensively overseas and has experienced the culture, history and landscapes as varied as Greece, Morocco, Egypt, Turkey, Mexico and Spain. Specific painting excursions to Greece, Morocco and Spain have led to vibrant paintings of exuberance enriched by the varied cultures and historic influences of these lands.
Greece and Islands
Exploring ancient ruins, ancient architecture, immersing myself in the culture and landscape, and living and painting, if only for a short time, was a wonderful experience.

Morocco
Judith's memories of Morocco have been an ongoing inspiration for her. The intrigue of what lies behind those walls, the fascinating decorative arches leading to bustling souks selling all sorts of exotic wares, silver, gold and copper vessels, lamps and jewellery, wonderful mosaics and delicate filigree seen in unexpected places.

Using mixed medium techniques which are quite often embellished with gold leaf Judith creates paintings which intrigue and captivate.
Glimpses of this strange and beautiful world have appealed to her active imagination.
Spain
Land of contrasts…Following in the footsteps of Don Quixote of windmill fame. An amazing journey; Drinking the famed sangria and loving the dramatic flamenco dancers with their swirling skirts, clicking finger and stamping feet, all to the music of guitars.
