Works on Paper
I work on different types of papers, good quality water colour paper, handmade paper and drawing paper. The latter I use for charcoal and pastel and maybe pen and wash. Acrylic is very versatile, I often use this as a water colour and love the way I can let the colours run into each other, push them around, and control the flow. Once dry, I over paint and I may use many glazes to bring out the depth of colour. Quite often accidental images happen and as I paint intuitively this may give me a new direction.
